Detailed itinerary

In the late morning hours, you will be picked up at your accommodation in Zagreb by your driver-guide (if the pick up location is not accessible, pick up will be arranged at the closest accessible location). While still driving through Zagreb, you will get an overview of the itinerary as well as the historical and cultural aspects of the city.

Stop 2

Your first stop will be the old baroque town of Samobor where you will enjoy the famous cream cake and coffee or some other beverage. There will also be a chance to visit the Old Town Samobor (if weather permits it) To reach it you will have an easy 10-minute hike. At the top, you will explore the old ruin that was once a formidable castle. After a short walk down to the car you will be driven to Plešivica wine region.

Once you reach Plešivica, your hedonistic experience will begin. First, you will be taken to a family-run restaurant to try their trademark dish, štrukli! Perhaps you will also want to warm up your tummy with a delicious soup made with local ingredients.

The second stop in Plesivica will be a family-run winery, you will be pampered by the winemaker who will undoubtedly amaze you with his passion as well as his personal connection to his wines. Take a seat and enjoy 9 varieties of this heavenly liquid paired with a homemade charcuterie plate.

Return to Zagreb is in the early evening hours.
