Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Your tour will take you to Lakeshore drive with its beautiful lake front homes along the shores of lake Coeur d'ALene. We will also visit the Jewett House to explore this picturesque property.

2

Our Mudgy & Millie story will begin at the Tubbs Hill hiking trails where the story begins with a game of hide and seek.

3

Mudgy sets our on his trek looking for Millie and his first stop is at the Library

4

As Mudgy continues searching Coeur d'ALene for Millie, he heads over to City Park and Independence point to continuing searching. This wonderful lake front park is popular with visitors for its big sandy beach. Independence Point was once the home to our Playland Pier amusement park that burned down in 1975. This is also where Mudgy hears Millie giggling and realizes Millie has been hiding in his antlers the entire time!

5

The carousel was built in 1922. It has 20 hand carved and hand painted wooden carousel horses that have been fully restored. This carousel once called Playland Pier home and fortunately it was rescued before the fire in 1975 that completely destroyed the amusement park. The carousel also has numerous hand painted murals that depict the history of Coeur d'Alene and North Idaho, all done by local artist.

6

We will pass through the Coeur d'Alene Resort where the worlds longest free floating wooded boardwalk is located. The resort is adorned with 30,000 tango red geraniums that are planted each year around Mother's Day in honor of the owners mother. It was her favorite flower.
