About this experience

The trip starts in the morning, with pick up at your Munich accommodation. Cool drinks and snacks will be waiting for you in a comfortable vehicle.

As soon as we have arrived at Munich's Old Town, you will explore some of the city’s main sights—including the buzzing market stalls of Viktualienmark, the central square of Marienplatz, and the former imperial residence of the Alter Hof. On our way to the Nymphenburg castle, all participants will get a delicious Bavarian breakfast or lunch.

Strengthened from a sufficient local meal, we can now look forward to the impressive Nymphenburg castle. You'll explore the palace on an audio guided tour. Afterward, we will have time to walk through the beautiful exterior complex with its unique fountain and also stroll through the impressive gardens.

As soon as we arrive at Munich's old town, you will explore some of the city’s main sights like Marienplatz, Rathaus-Glockenspiel, St. Peter's Church, Viktualienmarkt, Staatliches Hofbrauhaus, Platzl, Alter Hof, Maximillianstrasse, Bayerische Staatsoper, Residenz, Feldherrnhalle, Theatinerkirche St. Kajetan, Kaufingertor Passage and Frauenkirche. On our way to the Nyphenburg castle, all participants will get a delicious Bavarian breakfast or lunch (depending on the starting time of the tour) in a traditional restaurant in the old town - Traditional Breakfast or one Main course of your choice plus one Drink is included in your tour package :)

Our next stop is Nyphenburg Palace. King Maximilian I Joseph died at Nymphenburg in 1825. In subsequent years the palace remained a favourite residence of the Bavarian royal family. King Ludwig II of Bavaria (reigned 1864-1886) was born here on 25 August 1845. You'll explore the inside of the castle on an audio guided tour.
