The tasting will include 4 different wines and paired snacks. Since this is a private tour only for your small group of family/friends, the guide will pay extra attention to your needs and interest and select among red, white, rosé and sparkling wines depending on your individual preferences. You will learn interesting facts and anecdotes about wine regions and wine making traditions in Germany. The guide will also teach you how to read German wine labels so that you can easily choose which bottle to pick up from the store.
Some of the highlights include the stunning Hamburg State Opera, Jungfernstieg Promenade along the urban lake and Alsterarkaden, a historic Venetian-style arcade. You will make a stop at 2 wine bars for a tasting of 5 different wines with paired appetizers, such as cheese delicacies.
