Meet your guide In front of the Frankfurtbiketour bike rental shop, Martin-May-Straße 7, 60594 Frankfurt am Main, Germany

Stop 2

Cycle by the Deutschorden Church and the Museumsufer to cross the oldest bridge over the lower course of the Main River, the Old Bridge. Enjoy the scenic views over the river with the Ignatz Bubis bridge on one side, and the Iron Footbridge on the other.

You will reach the magnificent Gothic-style Frankfurt Cathedral and head towards the Römerberg town square.

You will admire the iconic timber houses, historic Römer city hall, the Fountain of Justice and a small medieval Old St Nicholas Church.

Stop 5

Your Local Guide will provide interesting commentary along the route. You will cycle by the politically important St Paul’s Church, the Unity Monument, and the Goethe House.

As you enter the more modern part of the city you will see Eurotower, Taunsuturm, Main Tower and other spectacular skyscrapers and corporate buildings.

Stop 7

You can enjoy the urban nature as you cycle through the local parks featuring a couple of nice monuments, memorials and the Märchenbrunnen fountain. you will cross the Main RIver again and follow the riverside.

From the Main Tower, you will continue straight towards the beautiful Bockenheimer Anlage park, cycle around the pond and follow a route back through the Opernplatz.

You will see the 1880 Renaissance-style former opera house, the fantastic Old Opera.

In addition, once you reach the green bank of the River Main, you will pass by the neo-baroque building of Untermainkai 29/30 and cross the Holbeinsteg bridge to head back to the bike rental shop through quiet residential streets.

From Opernplatz you will cycle to the Friedrich-Elbert-Anlage park, passing by the old police headquarters (Alte Polizeipräsidium), landmark tower MesseTurm, and the iconic Festhalle Messe arena.

Along the way, you will also spot the 21m kinetic sculpture known as the Hammering Man. Before heading back to the bike rental shop through the Untermainbrücke bridge, you will also have some free time to grab a snack.
