Stop 1

You will picked from your hotel lobby at 8:30 am,board to  the air conditioned vehicles and start your walking tour by visiting Kapitan Keling Mosque. It was the first arab-indian mosque built in Penang which gives the best atmosphere for a peaceful meditation. It is nevertheless attractive and worth a quick stop for some pictures.

Stop 2

Not to miss Kuan Yin Temple in the same street which dedicated to goddess of mercy Kuan Yin. This small unpretentious, well maintained temple has an air of serene divinity about it that is hard to describe and can only be experienced.

Proceed to Sri Maha Mariammman temple, located in the same street which has some fascinating designs and architecture. It is one of the well-known temple in Penang not only among Hindus but whole Penangites.

Next, our walk is to an architectural masterpiece of Penang, St. George’s church. This colonial style church has a very clean and neat compound. It was registered as ‘National Heritage’ in 2007. It is definitely worth a visit if you are keen on religious buildings.

Stop 5

Walking tour will not be complete without the ancient Penang Peranakan Mansion visit. You can soak up the ‘Baba Nyonya’ culture and the beautiful architecture here. Come and learn about the superb UNESCO heritage building here. The history showcasing about a wealthy Chinese family and how they loved in the 19th century. It is very exquisite with so much history, culture and heritage. Be ready to get blown away by the opulence in this mansion of history. 

100 years old clan Jetty which actually, is a small floating villages connected with the lads, is also included in your walk.
