About this experience

Take your time and take it all in—this extended tour offers the most comprehensive look at the incredible landscapes of Rocky Mountain National Park.

Your adventure begins in historic downtown Estes Park at 7,500 feet above sea level. From there, your guide will lead you through a variety of stunning ecosystems: lowland meadows filled with wildflowers, groves of shimmering aspens, swift rivers winding through pine forests, and dramatic mountain cliffs that rise around you. Enjoy multiple stops along the way, with opportunities for short, scenic hikes to waterfalls, quiet forest trails, and sweeping overlooks. Wildlife sightings are always possible, so keep your eyes open! This tour includes all the highlights of our Rocky Mountain Safari plus an additional 1.5 hours to allow exploration of the park’s majestic West Side. You’ll have more time to take photos, soak in the views, and explore at a more relaxed pace. 2 person minimum.

Experience the awe inspiring beauty of the Rockies, as your professional guide narrates your journey through meadow, aspen groves, along swift flowing rives to waterfalls.

At the top of the Rocky Mountains the Alpine Visitor Center is open from Memorial Day thru Fall (closes for Winter in Oct). Offering food, drinks, and souvenirs.

Located off the road to Endovalley, the Alluvial Fan is a beautiful cascade of water flowing down through a boulder field.

Reconstructed in 2020, the trail to the Alluvial Fan was designed to be fully accessible. From the west, this path meanders up to a 56-foot bridge crossing the Roaring River, offering access to the east side of the Alluvial Fan. Hikers of all abilities can enjoy breathtaking views of the Mummy Range, Horseshoe Falls, and Endovalley." -NPS

Meeting point

Please meet at the office 20 min. ahead of the departure time listed as your tour time.

Office is downtown Estes Park across the street from the Historic Park Theater which is a white tower building.

Important notes

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time. Tours depart on scheduled time. Tours are not able to wait for late arriving guests. There is a public parking lot beside our office that you can park in. Be sure to allow time for parking especially in mid day.

Please dress warm in pants and bring a jacket. Tours go high in elevation and temperatures drop 15 to 20 degrees on average. You may also bring water and a snack.
