Amboseli is beautiful and is considered as Kenya ‘s biosphere reserve. Amboseli in Masai means‘ Salty dust ’.It lies at the foot Mt. Kilimanjaro (5895m high) and Africa's highest mountain. In this park you will get the best sightings of the Mountain with its snow-capped peak, usually at sunrise and sunset.
The park has an endless supply of water fed by many underground streams. During the dry season, visitors get a captivating feature of animals concentrated by the water beds foraging and bathing.
Amboseli boasts vast herds of elephants in their hundreds, zebras, Wildebeest, Giraffes, Impalas, Cheetahs and the Leopard. Bird life includes the African fish Eagle, flamingos, Pelicans, Bee Eaters, Ostriches, King fishers Martial Eagles and pygmy Falcons.
Reptiles seen here are Python, Black mamba, Cobra and Tortoise.

It is in this park where you are guaranteed to see massive herds of elephants as they forage and bathe. You can also get the best sighting of Mt. Kilimanjaro with its snow-capped peak, usually at sunrise and sunset. The park is also home to a variety of other herbivores including Buffalo, Giraffes, Zebras, wildebeest,Gazelles, warthog, water-buck and hippos.Predators to be spotted here includes Lions, Cheetah, Hyena, Jackals and the fox. Amboseli is also very rich in bird fauna where close to 400 species have been recorded of which 40 species are birds of prey. Game drives in Amboseli is relatively easy since most animals are found concentrated in the numerous swamps.
DAY 1: Nairobi to Amboseli. {4 hours}
07:00 am: You are picked from your Nairobi hotel or residence for a trip to Amboseli passing through the eastern plains of Kamba land and on to Emali, continue south west passing the remote countryside of Kajiado to arrive Amboseli at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro around noon.With a game drive en route, proceed to arrive at your reserved camp in time for lunch.
4:00 pm. Proceed for an afternoon game drive,you will be visiting several swamps which are fed by underground streams from Mt. Kilimanjaro and where a big concentration of game is found. Your photos will capture Mt. kilimanjaro in the background.
Return to camp around 6:30 pm for dinner and overnight, enjoy evening entertainment organised by camp and watch the stars by a campfire.
DAY 2: Amboseli to Nairobi {5 hours}
6:30 am: After early morning coffee, proceed on a game drive, this is perfect to capture the mountain views which come out clearly in the mornings. Track large herds of elephants, giraffes, hyenas and a lot more plains game before returning to camp for proper breakfast.
After breakfast, load up for your journey back to Nairobi. Arrange with your guide to visit one of the Masai manyatta to have an authentic cultural feel and experience of this local community.
Proceed to Nairobi with a brief stop over for lunch and refreshment. You will arrive in Nairobi later in the evening. You are dropped at your hotel or residence.
