One of our purposes is for you to know all the great places that Guatemala offers you. The Department of Alta Verapaz is considered the green jewel of our country. You will find here a great number of flora that will make you forget any worry at least for a moment.
After the pandemic, we all need to get outdoors and enjoy activities surrounded by nature. The Sacmoc Eco-Park is one of the most beautiful places of Alta Verapaz, and the best of all is:
1. that they involve the community
2. they have environmental awareness
3. they make food only with ingredients produced locally to offer you a variety of options that you can enjoy, but the most important is that they are ready to receive us with open arms and show us around all the places and make us have fun!

We'll pick you up in your hotel lobby in Cobán and take you to Finca Sacmoc. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the road.
The name of this stunning natural place comes from one of its waterfalls: "Sacmoc" which means “where white is born” as the Mayan Queqchi people from the region believe that clouds are born above the Sacmoc Waterfall.
Then, we will find a handful of awesome activities to do; learn about the flora and fauna of Las Verapaces, drench in the crystal-clear natural pools and rivers, visit the jaw-dropping waterfalls, and get to know the locals' way of living and how they protect the place they live in.
During your time here, you will also go on a zipline and go above one of the natural pools.
The last point in our itinerary is to take you safe and sound to your hotel in Coban.
