Get to know the coffee plantations of Cobán in the highlands of the country, and learn about production techniques and processes from the very beginning till the end. This spectacular tour is given by the people from the ethnic group of Mayan Q'eqchi so you will live this experience directly with the locals.

After our coffee tour, we'll go to the Orchids Sanctuary just 20 minutes away from the coffee plantations. Due to its location and tropical weather, Guatemala has more than 1,400 species of orchids. In this tour, we'll take you through 9 interactive stations and you will have the chance to observe many of the 450 species of orchids that live here. We'll pick you up in your hotel lobby in Cobán and take you on a coffee tour and to the orchid sanctuary. You can sit back, relax, and enjoy the road and the beautiful views.

Coffee Farm: We have prepared an extraordinary experience for you to know the steps it takes to produce high-quality coffee, the history behind introducing coffee plants in Guatemala, and much more! You will be surrounded by nature and learn from the locals. And to close with a flourish, we´ll have a coffee-tasting experience. Also, have the chance to buy souvenirs in the local store.

Get ready to enjoy the beautiful landscape of this natural reserve. Orchids, butterflies, and nature are waiting for you. While we are on the orchid sanctuary you will be able to learn about these mesmerizing flowers, take beautiful photos, and if you´re lucky enough you´ll see a couple of birds.

During our way back to your hotel, you have the chance to relax and take a nap, or maybe you prefer to take photos of the marvelous landscapes of Las Verapaces... you choose, the time is yours.

The last point in our itinerary is to take you safe and sound to your hotel in Coban.
