Ram Tzul is a natural reserve located in the highlands of Guatemala, specifically in the department of Baja Verapaz. “Ram Tzul” means Heart and Spirit of the Mountain in the Mayan language. The indigenous people of this region believe that the “Heart and Spirit of the Mountain” is the giver of life, similar to Mother Nature.
We will see the bamboo forest, great waterfalls, rivers, and natural pools, and if we're lucky enough we'll watch the Resplendent Quetzal, Guatemala's national bird. So get your backpack ready and join us!
