El Mirador is a breathtakingly beautiful city with massive buildings. This city precedes others like Tikal by a couple of centuries. El Mirador was discovered less than 100 years ago, and they are still exploring and excavating, it is believed that there are more than 200 small cities around El Mirador that used to be like the suburbs.
Without a doubt, there is much to explore and much to know. A 5-day, 4-night tour sounds a bit challenging, but you will enjoy every step of this tour. The road is flat, and we will walk between 5 to 6 hours a day making stops to rest and eat a snack every two hours. During this adventure, you will visit 3 Mayan cities in total: El Tintal, La Muerta, and El Mirador.
Your visit will also contribute to the Carmelita community. The team that will accompany you throughout the tour is part of a community cooperative, and the proceeds directly help the entire neighborhood. Please note that you will need to make your reservation with 5 days of anticipation.
