Day 1: Huaraz (3,100 m) – Private transport to Laguna Parón (4,200 m) – Trekking around the lake – Return to Huaraz

Our private transport takes us through the towns of Carhuaz, Yungay, and Caraz. From Caraz, a quiet farming town known for its berries and carnations, a winding dirt road climbs up to the spectacular Laguna Parón (4,200 m), one of the most scenic lakes in the Cordillera Blanca.

Surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks, the aquamarine waters of Laguna Parón offer breathtaking views and a perfect setting for an easy hike. We trek along the lakeshore to its far end, a pleasant 2-hour walk with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and pristine nature. After enjoying this unforgettable day, we return to Huaraz.
