Day 1: Huaraz (3,100 m) – Private transport to the Santa River Valley – Yungay – Quebrada Llanganuco – Cebollapampa (3,850 m) – Trekking to Laguna 69 (4,650 m) – Return to Huaraz

Laguna 69 is considered one of the most famous and iconic lakes in the Cordillera Blanca. The trail leads us through scenic montane forests and marshy highland meadows, always bordered by a steep and dramatic ridge. Behind us, the fortress-like summit of the ice giant Huascarán dominates the skyline.

The winding path continues past several impressive waterfalls until we finally reach Laguna 69, a jewel of deep turquoise water surrounded by glacial moraines. Towering directly above the lake are the sheer ice walls of Chacraraju, one of the most beautiful—yet technically demanding—6,000 m peaks in the Cordillera Blanca.

After enjoying the stunning scenery, rest, and photographs, we return to Huaraz.
