We will spend about 40 minutes by car toward southeast of Phnom Penh to reach Tamao Mountain a varied site consisting of temples, mountain, nature and a big zoo in Cambodia. You will see many animals and birds that are brought by Ministry of Agriculture by seizing from illegal wild animal traffickers in Cambodia. Then you will visit Tonle Bati, a place of worship and features two ancient temples, Ta Promh and Yeay Peov, and a pagoda, Wat Tonle Bati, which was built in 1576.

Tamao Mountain is a big zoo in Cambodia and 40 km from Phnom Pen City. Tamao mountain has 25,000 hectar land area which is a forest protected area. The 70 hectar area is consisting of ancient temples. Tamao Temple was built in 11th dedicated to Brahmanism. Furthermore; Tamao zoo has 84 types of animals and birds. All these animals and birds are brought here by The Ministry of Agriculture and by seizing from offenders who traffic illegally in wild animals through out Cambodia.
