Lesedi Cultural Village one of the best cultural villages in South Africa, is about an hours drive from Johannesburg. It is situated in the countryside, west of Johannesburg, set amongst the pristine bushveld and rocky hills in the Cradle of Humankind. Lesedi Cultural Village has five homesteads showcasing the cultures of the Ndebele, Zulu, Xhosa, Basotho, and Bapedi ethnic groups.
Ndebele Village Amphitheater, where guests are welcomed, has paintings on the walls and artifacts depicting the types of settlements for these five ethnic groups. Lesedi Cultural Village also has the Imbizo Amphitheater where guests are entertained through music and dance. It also has the Nyama Choma restaurant serving a variety of South African cuisine buffet lunch and beverages. The Curio shop and the flea market sell curios, artifacts, jewelry, African clothing, and bags, which can be of personal interest to guests.
