Seiryuji temple is a Buddhist temple of Shingon sect with a beautiful five story pagoda.
You can enjoy warking in a path along with Japanese ceder trees.

Summer festival Aomori Nebuta festival is popular nationwide.
You can see four big awarded huge lantern floats.
Also, you can learn about the festival fron short movie.
From 11:10,13:10 and 15:10, live performance of festival can be seen.

You can make your original seafood bowl at this fish market.
They serve not only raw fish but fried seafood and meat.

On of Jomon historical site which is designated as a world heritage sites.
I will guide you thourgh the excavation site and museum.
You can have lunch at the museum restaurant.

This shrine is said to be built when Aomori city was called as Utoh village.
It is a shinto shrine where you can go through big torii gates, purify yourself at a purification basin, and pray at the main shrine for your happy and healthy life.

Nice 3-D sightseeing movie can be enjoyed on the second floor.
Before you explore Aomori prefecture, definitly, you should watch this sight seeing movie.
On the first floor, you can enjoy souvenir shopping, grab just baked apple pies, taste fine quality Japanese sake.
In this building, there are some restaurants for lunch.

Aomori Museum of art has lots of local artist's fine art together with Shagal's valley backdrop Aleco.
It is within walking distance from Sannai Maruyama historical site.
If you get tired, you can take a rest at a cafe inside the museum.
***This museum is closed on the second and fourth Monday of the month.
