Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

The tour starts by pick up at your Nairobi Hotel or home 8AM. You will then be driven to the Giraffe centre where you will learn more about the conversation efforts to conserve an endangered species. The center's main purpose is to protect and help with the breeding of the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. Under the supervision of a professional, you can feed the giraffes from a raised observation platform. These platforms allow the visitors to come eye-to-eye with the giraffes. The center also has a large auditorium where visitors can listen to talks about Giraffe conservation and a various activities the center is involved in.

Stop 2

The second stop is the Elephant Orphaned Trust; it is strictly open between 11 am and 12 noon. Here you will be able to see rescued baby and teenage elephants and learn their unique stories of how they got there, how they got their names and what plans are there to release them. Daphne Sheldrick, as part of the David Sheldrick Conservation Foundation, rehabilitates baby elephants and other wildlife here at her home just outside of Nairobi National Park. These babies have lost their mothers to poaching, death, injuries, on getting lost in the wild or other tragedies.

Stop 3

Learn to Make Jewelry&Pottery frm clay - Kazuri Beads Factory You will then be driven to the Kazuri Beads factory. This is a pottery company that makes one of the world most beautiful beads. You will be shown all the stages from the start to the finish.

You will be taken out for lunch (own expense) at Utamaduni or Tamambo or similar restaurant then enter Bomas cultural dances show. The tribal cultural shows happens every day from 2:30pm to 4pm and display tribal talent in music, dance, theatre/drama, fashion show, poetry/recitals and comedies. If you are interested in Kenyan culture or just want an afternoon of African entertainment, this is a day trip not to be missed!

Stop 5

And the last stop will be Carnivore Restaurant for dinner from around 6PM . Upon your arrival, you will simply take your seat on the Zebra striped chair so the movable feast can begin. First comes the soup of the day before a sizzling cast-iron plate is placed in front of you, along with a plate of home baked brown bread and butter. An army of carvers wearing zebra striped aprons and straw hats then move from table to table carrying the Masai swords laden with different prime meats deliberately carving unlimited amounts onto the sizzling, cast iron plates in front you. Meats that will be available include leg of beef, ostrich, leg of lamb, pork spare ribs, crocodile, chicken wings, pork sausages, beef sausages, and more. Accompanying the meat feast is a wide selection of salads and vegetable side dishes, and also a variety of sauces stacked on to a 2-tiered revolving tray in the center of the table. Stop the circulation of meats to your table by lowering the white paper flag that is on top of the central tray. Next, enjoy dessert and coffee to top off your meal. Our driver will return you to your Hotel at the end of your meal.
