You’ll be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech around 8:30 AM and driven through scenic countryside to the peaceful village of Imlil, located at the foot of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa.
With your local Berber mountain guide, enjoy a guided hike through small villages, crossing rivers, walking past terraced fields, and taking in stunning mountain views. The hike is suitable for all levels and can be adapted to your pace (approx. 1.5 to 2 hours).
After the hike, relax and enjoy a home-cooked Berber lunch in a family guesthouse, served with fresh mint tea and overlooking the valley.
Before returning to Marrakech, stop at a women’s Argan oil cooperative to learn how Morocco’s famous oil is made traditionally.
