Our representative will pick up from your Luxor hotel or cruise ship, cross the River Nile to the West Bank – where your hot air balloon awaits. After a safety briefing and introduction to your ground crew and pilot, you will climb into the balloon's basket and get ready for lift-off.

It is then time for takeoff and rises into the dawn sky. Away from the daytime crowds, you will drift peacefully over the West Bank of Luxor and sights such as the monuments of Thebes. Then head to the Valley of the Kings,It was part of the ancient city of Thebes and the burial site of almost all the kings (pharaohs) of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties (1539–1075 BCE), from Thutmose I to Ramses X. Learn about the temple’s history and life of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s first female ruler. Stroll around the courtyards and terraces, and admire the statues and hieroglyphics that adorn them.

Next, make your way to the two great statues known as the Colossi of Memnon, which once flanked the gateway in front of the temple pylon but now sit like lonely sentinels in the middle of a field. The statues represent Amenhotep III (reigned 1390–53 BCE ) but the name Memnon is of (later) Greek origin; with their crowns the statues were about 70 feet (21 meters) high, each.Finally, enjoy a delicious lunch at well-known local restaurant before being transferred back to your accommodation.
