We are the only company offering self guided tours into the hinterland, National Parks and Northern Rivers Rail Trail. Get off the tourist trail and see the magic that exists away from the coast. Be immersed in ancient rainforest, swim in an enchanting waterfall, ride through old railway tunnels and over bridges. See it all in a great day out to remember.
Be amazed at how easy adventuring on an E Bike really is, climb hills like a champ and go further than you thought possible.
We start at our location in Mooball (next to the Moo Moo roadhouse) and finish at the historic Billinudgel Hotel.
You need moderate fitness (the E Bike takes the strain) and good general cycling experience, (over 14 years of age and under 120kgs).
Self Guided so you go in your own group at your own pace, stop where you want - just make it back by 4pm.
5-6 hours in total with 3 hours of cycling (rest is eating, swimming and exploring)
Challenges - some gravel roads including one downhill section
The tour starts at the South end of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail at Mooball. Grab a great coffee or have breakfast before you go at the Moo Moo Roadhouse, we are located next door. Plenty of onsite parking.
From Mooball ride the best bits of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail, including the 524m long Burringbar Range Tunnel, historic Mills Creek bridge and the hinterland towns of Burringbar and Stokers Siding.
After leaving the Rail Trail at Stokers Siding make your way through the hinterland to the quirky town of Uki for a break and a snack, Village & Co Cafe, Bastion Coffee or Uki Pies are our recommendations.
After leaving Uki you cruise through sleepy Rowlands Creek and start to climb up into Mount Jerusalem National Park. Breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the silence. Navigate yourself to Unicorn falls hidden away in the forest, a great place reflection and a refreshing swim.
After your descent stop off at Main Arm store, the hub of Main Arm village. Have an icecream, grab a snack and meet the locals.
The home stretch is a ride through the beautiful countryside of The Pocket. You will see a lot of cows and a few Alpaccas if you are lucky.
The end of your tour is the historic Billinudgel Hotel in Billinudgel. Grab a well earned drink and sit at a table by the car park and we will be along to pick you up and take you back to Mooball.
Meet us at our location in Mooball, we are next to the Moo Moo roadhouse opposite the large motorbike, you can't miss us.
