About this experience

We will visit one of the most traditional and cultural fishing neighborhoods in Cartagena that is located 11.2 miles from downtown, where you will be a FISHERMAN for one day!

Here, we will discover the beautiful ecosystem of the Mangroves going in small wood boats where I will show you the most traditional fishing techniques to fish crabs, shrimps, seashells, and fish, using traditional elements.

We'll be fishing techniques, which consists of fishing with a net that is manually made. Once we learn how to do it, we will fish small fishes to use as baits. It's here where we will learn another very important traditional technique that consists of fishing crabs with traps that are manually made as well.

Thirdly, we will learn how to steer our boats manually. Every 15 minutes we will check our traps to see our catch. In the end, you will eat a delicious typical dish of Cartagena served with the whole catch you got in the activity.

Let's be a fisherman for one day!
