About this experience
The name Zanzibar refer to the archipelago of island in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of mainland commonly known Zanzibar and pemba and other other small islands. After ousting the Portuguese, Oman Arabs ruled over Zanzibar but their influence wasn't really felt until 1804 when sayyid said bin sultan arrived from Oman and fell in love with this lush tropical island.
