Detailed itinerary

We will meet outside Bata Shoe shop at 6am along City Hall way opposite Kencom bus station. Around 7am we will drive to Mt longonot located 75 kms Northwest of Nairobi. We will have a short stop over at the great rift valley view point for scenery viewing and pictures.

After park formalities we will start to climb and climb for 3 kilometers up to the crater rim, later on we will walk another 7 kilometers round the crater and finalize back down 3 km to the park entrance. The hiking duration always depends with personalized walking pace always between 3 hours and 6 hours. The highest point or the summit is known as Kilele Ngamia at 2780 MASL.
Later we will visit Lake Naivasha which is a 30minutes drive from Mount Longonot.
After arriving in Naivasha we will first have our lunch later proceed to boat ride which takes 1hour.
After the whole activity which take 8 hours we will head back in Nairobi where you will be drop at the same starting point outside Bata Shoe Shop

We will have a stopover at Great Rift Valley to experience the 9600km valley that comes all the way from Red sea to Mozambique

After arriving in Lake Naivasha from Mt Longonot we will have our lunch later enjoy the 1hour boat ride in this fresh water lake that is located in the Great Rift Valley
