Detailed itinerary

1

Here is the location of our basecamp, the starting point where you will receive explanations for the trekking adventure while enjoying our local coffee/tea with Balinese cake. Our basecamp is situated near the two lakes famously known as the "Twin Lakes" in Bali.

2

The trekking will commence with an exploration of Buyan Lake led by our experienced guide. This lake is renowned as the 3rd largest lake in Bali, offering a truly spectacular view. As you make your way down to the lake, you will encounter magnificent ancient trees that add to the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Upon reaching the tranquil shores of the lake, you'll have the opportunity to embark on a traditional canoe ride guided by local fishermen. The serene canoeing experience lasts for approximately 20 minutes, allowing you to appreciate the picturesque lakeside scenery, complete with stunning rock walls, in this pristine and unspoiled lake setting.

3

After canoeing to the western edge of Buyan Lake, you will enter a forest that acts as a natural barrier between Buyan and Tamblingan Lake. Here, you'll continue your journey with a jungle trek, where you will encounter more majestic Big Old Banyan Trees. These ancient trees provide an exciting opportunity for climbing, swinging, and capturing memorable photos in the midst of nature's wonder.

Moreover, this forest holds historical significance, as it bears traces of past civilizations dating back to the 13th century, such as pottery remnants and a lake temple. Among the notable landmarks is the Ulun Danu Tamblingan Temple, which holds great importance for the Balinese people due to its strong connection with local religious practices that have endured through the ages. Exploring this area will give you a glimpse into the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of Bali.

4

Trekking day will be ended at Banyumala Twin Waterfall for relaxing and swimming in the crystal clear fresh spring water
