Visit the renowned Suigetsugama Kiln, established by Arakawa Toyozo, a leading figure in the world of pottery. Witness the traditional process of pottery-making, including clay preparation, shaping, and firing, all done by hand. The tour also includes a stop at Eihōji Temple, a National Treasure with two treasured buildings, and THE GROUND MINO, where you can enjoy works by contemporary ceramic artists. For lunch, choose between Tajimi’s specialty eel or a traditional Japanese meal served on Mino ware.
Visiting the Mino ware kiln "Suigetsugama" for 45min. to observe the traditional handcrafted production process, from preparing the clay to shaping, firing, and painting. You can also view the interiors of rare kilns such as the "Noborigama" (climbing kiln), "Anagama" (hole kiln), and "Kingama"(Painting kiln).
On the cycling route, stop by Eihōji Temple (for 30min), home to two halls that have stood for over 700 years, and stroll through its garden, which showcases the beauty of nature in every season.

Surrounding the monastery buildings are large vineyards, and the grapes grown there have been fermented in the monastery's cellar since 1933, becoming famous as "Tajimi Monastery Wine."
