About this experience

This tour will take you to place where West and East meet, where two cultures, two religions are related through centuries. On our way to Mostar we will drive through most fertile part of Croatia, Neretva Valley and make a short stop to Pocitelj, ancient fortification style town. Next stop is town of Blagaj where you will be able to see The Old Dervis House. Upon we arrive to Mostar you will have more then enough time for sightseeing. If you are lucky, maybe you will see brave young boys jumping from the Old Bridge. Before returning, don`t forget to taste some of traditional dishes that this town is well known for.

On our way to Mostar, just after we cross the croatian-bosnian border, we will stop to see Pocitelj, ancient fortification style town. It is on UNESCO Tentative List for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Pocitelj was built by King Tvrtko in 1383 and it had a strategic role in controlling the passage to the sea through the Neretva valley.

Blagaj Tekija is a Dervish monastery just few minutes outside the Mostar, that’s nearly 600 years old. Situated at the base of a cliff, next to the spring of the river Buna, it’s a unique and picturesque place youwill most certainly enjoy.

Although it is the 5th largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina you will be able to explore it on foot and see all the major sights. The Old Bridge is a Unesco World Heritage Site and the most famous attraction in Mostar. It is located in the heart of the city, on the Neretva River. The Mosque, Kriva Cuprija (The Crooked Bridge) you will see just walking through Old Town. Taste some delicious Bosnian specialties and feel the energy of this beautiful place.
