Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Stop At: Eagle Square, Langkawi 07000 Malaysia

Eagle Square
Datatan Lang (Eagle Square) This is a great location and Langkawi Icon for photography featuring a huge eagle statue over a spectacular views of Kuah Bay.

Duration: 30 minutes

The Malay word for eagle is helang (colloquially shortened to lang), and kawi is a red stone used as a chalk to mark goods. This interpretation was used to create the landmark sculpture of an eagle as the symbol of Langkawi at Dataran Helang (Eagle Square) in Kuah.

2
Stop 2

Stop At: Tanjung Rhu Beach, Langkawi Island, Langkawi 07000 Malaysia

If you are looking for a secluded beach away from the crowd that offers breathtaking view of the emerald blue water and islands at a distance, then Tanjung Rhu is the beach to go. This is one our most favorite beaches when it comes to scenic settings. The beach is located at the north eastern edge of Langkawi at a remote corner. The word Tanjung in Malay means a cape or a promontory, and Rhu stands for casuarina trees. So as the name suggests, you will see lots of casuarinas fringing the cape area and the beach.

3
Stop 3

Stop At: Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls

Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls is billed as the island’s most wonderful natural attraction. Set on Langkawi’s western headlands, its name means Seven Wells Waterfalls, referring to a series of seven connected natural pools fed by seven separate waterfalls in Mount Mat Cincang. Locals say that the Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls are home to fairies, but really it is probably the gorgeous flora in the area that makes the place seem magical. Plant life here includes unique lime plants and Sintuk, a climbing type of foliage, which grow abundantly. Adventure enthusiasts can brave the steep climb to the top of the waterfalls, past huge rocks and through the seven pools.
