About this experience

Take a breathtaking journey through the French Alps on this private day trip from Geneva to Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe, and Chamonix, the most famous resort in France.

In 90 minutes by coach, along the picturesque valley of the Arve river, we arrive in Chamonix. In the streets of this "high-mountain village" you'll meet Alpine enthusiasts and lovers of its history and legends.

Option to add : Ride a cable car to the summit of Aiguille du Midi for an incredible Alpine panorama. If you feel brave enter on the Glass Box, the views will take your breath away.

Option to add : After, take a scenic ride on the famous Montenvers Railway to Mer de Glace, the longest glacier in France. Take a coffee at their cafeteria up at the mountain or take the 500 steps stairs to immerse you at the Ice Caves built under.

Board the charming red cog railway up to Montenvers, you’ll enjoy fabulous views of Mer de Glace. This magnificent glacier is 4 miles (7km) long and averages just under a mile wide. Surrounded by the impressive summits of Les Drus, Les Grandes Jorasses and Les Grands Charmoz, The Montenvers site is a natural living witness of climate change of our era.
