07.30 - 8.00 am : Upon you arrive at Halong Cruise Port, please walk to the outside gate of the port and meet our driver who will be waiting for you with a welcome board showing your name then you get on the car to get to Hanoi city. It takes about 2 hours drive by expressway from Halong to Hanoi

10.00 - 10.30 am: Arrive in Hanoi, our guide will take you to visit the Ho Chi Minh complex which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum which is the final resting place of the beloved national hero, Uncle Ho (it will close on some days). President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house where he lived off and on from 1958 to 1969. Next place you will visit is the One Pillar Pagoda, which is actually a group of structures that collectively make up a pagoda built over the water in the middle of a square lake.

To continue the trip, our car will take you to the Temple of Literature, which was Vietnam’s first university and is dedicated to Confucius. Temple of Literature Hanoi, or Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam, is a particularly important historical and cultural relic site in the capital of Hanoi. It is also a symbol of Vietnamese culture and intelligence. Hanoi Temple of Literature is known as the first university in Southeast Asia. In recent years, the Temple of Literature has always been an attractive destination for tourists when they have the opportunity to visit Hanoi because of the unique architectural and historical value it brings.

Then stop at local restaurant in the ciiry for lunch meal with vietnamese dishes. After lunch , we continute visit Hoa Lo Prison was a prison used by the French colonists in French Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period it was known to American POWs as the Hanoi Hilton. The prison was demolished during the 1990s, although the gatehouse remains as a museum.

Hoan Kiem Lake, meaning "Lake of the Returned Sword" or "Lake of the Restored Sword"), also known as Hồ Gươm (Sword Lake), is a fresh water lake, measuring some 12 ha in the historical center of Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. In the past, the lake was variously name "Luc Thuy Lake", meaning "Green Water Lake" - aptly named for the water's color) or "Thuy Quan Lake", meaning "Mariner's Lake". The lake is one of the major scenic spots in the city and serves as a focal point for its public life.
