Start a 6KM hiking, the accent is Don village famed for breathtaking paddy fields and Uoi – Lan Villages stood out with authentic life of Thai ethnic minority. Difficulty level 1/5.
This is a common and easy walk around the most beautiful valley of rice terraces in front of the Retreat. We start to descend into the beautiful valley facing the Retreat where you walk around tumbling rice terraces. Then we will walk through small paths shrouded in vegetation to slowly reveal a picturesque Uoi village sitting at the base of a towering mountain. Your camera will not be able to sit still when you see the panorama view of the village from above.
Continue a 8km trek through an unknown terrain and head to Hieu Village (second option is by bicycle). Opportunities to watch enchanting scenery along the way. Difficulty level 3/5.
Walk up to the remotest part of Hieu Village and gradually follow the stream down to the main point of Hieu Waterfall - the alone waterfall in Pu Luong Nature Reserve and have a break there.
Hieu Waterfall is known as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Hieu Village, Pu Luong Thanh Hoa province.
Have lunch at a local family nearby the waterfall. Then take another short walk to Long Village finishing the 19KM trekking route. Those who ride bycicle will have almost the same itinerary with easier roads. Have a 30-minute drive back your hotel by car or motorbike. The tour finishes by 4PM.
