Detailed itinerary

1

The tour will start at the Cassano 1875 company, where various liqueurs are produced, including the flagship product, the IGP limoncello. Here you will discover all the stages of limoncello production as they have been handed down for generations! You will then visit the village of Marina di Cassano, where shipyards were built that rivaled those of Savona and Sant'Antonio. The sailing ships of Piano di Sorrento, in fact, opened the merchant traffic from the Sorrento Peninsula first with the ports of the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic and subsequently the routes to the distant Americas. Finally, there will be a tasting of the various products, including liqueurs, homemade citrus jams, extra virgin olive oil and a typical traditional dessert such as Babà, a lemon and caprese delight, artfully made by our master pastry chef. During the tasting you will be told the history of the building and the company.
