Another stop is this beautiful parade ground where all the main royal events take place in London. Officially the gateway to the royal palaces, it’s surrounded by classic architecture from the Georgian and Victorian period, containing many government buildings.

One of the most recognisable sights of London, Big Ben has dominated the skyline here since Victorian times. The famous clock has seen it all and though there is very little parking nearby, we briefly stop to take photographs.

One of London’s newer attractions (built to celebrate the millennium in the year 2000) it is already one of the most photographed sights of London! Although there is very little parking in the vicinity, we briefly stop to take photographs.

Stop 9 Pass by

A drive down this historic avenue is like a trip though British history. We pass many beautiful Government buildings, including Downing Steet, the London residence of the British Prime Minister. (Unfortunately, Downing Street has been closed to the public for many years for obvious security reasons.)

Stop 10

The very centre of London and some say its beating heart. Dominated by the imposing statue of Admiral Nelson, one of our greatest historical figures, and the impressive architecture of the National Gallery. There is no easy parking here but your driver will try and find a place to stop so you can take photos.

London’s main church with its giant dome, St Paul’s is a constant source of pride for the city. Built by the eminent architect Sir Christopher Wren after the previous church burnt down in the Great Fire of London), we stop here to get out the cab for photos. Listen to your friendly driver/guide tell you all about its glorious history, including how it survived the blitz – the bombing of London during WW2 - giving Londoner’s hope and comfort during their darkest hour.

Without doubt, this 11th century Norman castle is the oldest building in London and contains more of the nation’s history than any other in London. A stop here is definitely on a lot of peoples lists. One of London’s most beautiful and instantly recognisable sights, this is the city’s most famous bridge. We can stop here for photographs and if you’re very lucky, you might see the bridge goes up to let a tall ship to go through!
