We will pick up all the guests in Hanoi Old Quarter from 07.15 to 07.30 AM. Please be ready at your hotel/airbnb's lobby. Our tour guide will come and call out your name on booking. If you stayn outside Old Quarter, please come to Hanoi Opera House for pick up point then taking 1,5 hour - drive to Incense Village Quang Phu Cau
At Quang Phu Cau Incense Village, you can see the process that the artisans make the incense with beautiful color and dry them under the sun and making the best photos ever.
Note: If it rains you cannot see the incense so you will visit Bat Trang pottery village (45 minutes driving) instead with a pottery workshop where the artisans produce ceramics products for domestic use and exporting. You also practice making 1 sample with the instructor.
Before 11:30 am, you will be at Train Street to get ready for taking photos/videos of the train coming back to Hanoi Railway station. This is the most expected part of the trip. Then you have lunch there.
In the afternoon:
Visiting Hoa Lo Prison which is known as Maison Centrale in Hanoi or the ‘Hanoi Hilton’ which housed Vietnamese revolutionaries & American POW during the Vietnam War,
Then Temple of Literature - the first university of Vietnam in The 10th Century, learn more about Confucianism and Viet Nam traditional education with Khue Van Pavilion and Doctor Stelas on turtle's back,
After, visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (visit the outside of the mausoleum), Ba Dinh Square where president Ho Chi Minh declared Independence of Vietnam on September 2nd, 1945
Driving to West Lake to visit the most ancient pagoda Tran Quoc which was built in 528 to understand about Buddhism in Vietnam. The tour ends with special Egg coffee that you have never tried before.
17:30 Dropping you off at your hotel or meeting point. Trip ends.
