About this experience

Escape the bustle of Hanoi for a rural adventure in scenic Mai Chau Valley. After pickup from your Hanoi hotel, enjoy the scenery of the Hoa Binh Province on your way to Mai Chau. Especialy, we will stop for short time at Thung Khe Mountain Pass, which is one of the most beautiful mountain passes in Vietnam, and visit the local market of the Muong ethnic minority people located on the pass. At Mai Chau Valley, you will enjoy delicious local lunch in the Thai Homestay run by the Muong ethnic minority, then take a ride or walk pass rice paddies and small ethnic villages of the Thai ethnic minority and learn about local life in Mai Chau.

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

07:15 – 07:30 Our tour guide and transfer will pick up customers at Hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter Area or Hanoi Opera House or Authentic Hanoi Travel Office if outside and start driving to Mai Chau Valley. It is 4 hour drive from Hanoi to Mai Chau

Stop 2

On the way, you can see Thung Khe mountain pass, which is one of the most beautiful mountain passes in Vietnam, and visit the local market of the Muong ethnic minority people located on the pass.

Stop 3

12:00 Arrive in Mai Chau Valley for having lunch
13:00 – 15:00 : Cycling Tour in a beautiful valley full of fresh air and visit the typical Thai ethnic village and explore the way they are woven traditional fabrics and brocade products that take a very long time to finish.
15:30 Get on bus transfer go back to Hanoi.

Stop 4 Pass by

On the way biking , you will see Lac Village.

Lac village in Mai Chau district of Hoa Binh province. It’s become a great destination for anyone seeking tranquility away from urban luxuries. Here the atmosphere is rich, culture is more and more attractive than ever. A lively gateway to the highlands of the Northwest.

Stop 5 Pass by

On the way biking , you will see Pom Coong Village.

Pom Coong is one of the main villages within the stunning Mai Chau valley. Best known for the hospitality of the White and Black Thai people who call it home, the area is surrounded by verdant rice paddies and towering mountains.

Stop 6

You'll get back on the bus back to Hanoi. We will arrive at Hanoi & drop off the guests at hotels/stays in Hanoi Old Quarter Area between 19h00 PM to 19h30 PM. Tour end.
