- All guests must be able to row their kayaks by themselves. One of the requirements is that you are able to get in and out of the kayak on your own and be able to maneuver it. If you are an unexperienced kayaker we highly suggest you choose the earlier tour.
Kayaks have a weight limit of 240 lbs. per person (NO exceptions). To assure weight restriction is met, guests will be weighed on-site. It is the guest responsibility to comply with health and weight requirement.

##QUICK BIO BAY TOUR DETAILS
• Each Bio Bay tour is guided by a certified interpretive Marine Biologist trained in First Aid & CPR.
• Skill Level: For Everyone (kids 6 years and up)
• Duration: 2 hours approx. (Weather permitting)
• This is a 2-person kayak tour. The maximum weight limit is 200 pounds per person. We have NO single kayaks!
• Launch Site: Kayak Village, Fajardo, Puerto Rico
• Bio bay trip includes All required safety equipment, specialized equipment (2-person kayak, etc.), professional field guides, water & snacks, bug repellent, kayak “Lesson 101” before the trip, safety orientation, and most of all…a lot of fun!
• You will get very wet, we recommend bringing extra clothes for after the tour and a towel.
We depart from Kayak Village, Fajardo PR. You must arrive 30 mins earlier than the starting time to find parking & to sign a waiver. The location is very crowded. You must look for the Pure Adventure sign, and look for the company name & logo. Come prepared to get wet!

- Check-in is 30 mins before tour time. Drive from San Juan can be an hour & 30 min depending on traffic. Please plan your departure accordingly.

- For safety, pregnant women CANNOT do this tour.
-For any guest that arrives at a different location, unable to get transportation & because of this are unable to do the tour no refund or rescheduling will be done. NO exceptions regardless of the cancellation reason.

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS: Tours is NOT be canceled if it’s raining. It is still safe and the water will still glow under the rain. Guests that decide not to complete the tour or are no-shows will NOT receive a refund.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT OF ADMISSION: Guests are expected to follow instructions at all times and maintain respectful behavior towards other guests and the crew. If guests do not comply with the safety rules and behavior Pure Adventure reserves the right to end the participation of the guest at any time.
SPECIAL NOTE: Keep in mind that bioluminescence is very unpredictable and is a natural phenomenon influenced by several factors, which cannot be controlled nor predicted. Pure Adventure cannot hold responsibility in the eventuality that the bay doesn't light up.
