Zanzibar is one of the largest producers and exporters of cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon in the world. Zanzibar also known as The Spice Island.

After the Stone Town city tour, we will visit Jambo and Tangawizi Spice Farm where you will see, touch (feel it), smell and taste different types of Spices available in Zanzibar. Including cloves, nutmeg, cocoa, ginger, vanilla, mint, lemongrass, turmeric, chili, black pepper, cinnamon, and a lot more.

Apart from Spices you will also see some plantations that are mainly available in Zanzibar including Cassava, oranges, Jack-fruit, Durian fruit Coconut tree (where you will also experience to see a local climbing coconut tree while singing local song - Jambo Bwana), and much more.

Also you will enjoy having fresh fruits at the farm including; Watermelon, Pineapple, Bananas, Mangoes, Coconut Juice, etc. and get some local handmade gifts.

Stop 2

The last part during this trip, we will visit The Jozani Chwaka Bay (Jozani Forest), which is a National Park in Zanzibar covered 50 km² and it is the largest park in the Island. Jozani Forest is well known for Red colobus monkeys (one of the rare species that can only be found in Zanzibar).

During this trip you will see the Red colobus monkeys very closer (Just 1 meter away) plus these monkeys are so friendly to humans that they wont attack or disturb you. Also at this forest there are other spices of monkey, Bush-babies, Butterflies and much more.

We will also see different types of plantations at the Jozani Forest which some of them can be used for local medicine uses, making furniture, other different uses.

Lastly we go to the mangrove boardwalk, Mangroves help us protect out ocean from damaging storm and hurricane winds, waves, and floods. At this place you will be able to see Mangroves, and take beautiful pictures as it has one of the best views.
