Join us for a unique private & guided half day cycling tour of 15-20kms with an electric bike which takes you on an adventure through the picturesque Franschhoek in the heart of the Winelands. It allows the most breath-taking views of the valley while on the e-bike. Along the way we are stopping to taste wine at two family owned and award winning small boutique wineries. You will have a specialist wine guide that will talk you through the wine history, seasons of the vines and the gorgeous valley you will be in. This is the official starting point of our tour is Franschhoek Rent n Bicycle, no 9 Fabriek street, Franschhoek.You also may come park your car here safely and enter the church parking area from the main road. Please arrive 5mins before the tour starts so that we can provide you with the correct sized bike, helmet and also follow protocol. The tour will start with a briefing of the tour with your wine guide for the day. This point is also the end point of the tour. The bike tour goes through private wineries and vineyards and away from traffic and main roads.
Our accredited wine guide will guide you on a epic outdoor bike tour in a beautiful valley. He will talk about the wine history of the valley and the winery, the seasons of the vine and the wines. The hidden gem La Bri Wine estate will be the first stop for wine tasting on our route. Cycling here and time spend here calculated together.
While biking through vineyards and private roads away from the main roads and traffic we will discover and visit a small and boutique winery named Glenwood for our second wine tasting of the day.
