About this experience

The Discover Glasgow full day tour allows you to discover the city at your own speed. You will discover the city an air conditioned executive Mercedes Benz. The tour combines all of Glasgow's most famous attractions along with some hidden gems. You will be accompanied by a knowledgeable local driver/ guide who will be able to give background information to the attractions and answer any of your questions.
The tour is very informal and laid back if you want to stay longer at an attraction or go somewhere not listed no problem it's your day and we can make the tour to suit you.
Chilled water, soft drinks and tasty treats will be available throughout the tour free of charge.

Stop 1

Glasgow Cathedral is the oldest Cathedral on mainland Scotland and the oldest building in Glasgow. Travellers will be invited to admire the architecture and take a look inside the Cathedral as it is open to all.

Glasgow Necropolis is the graveyard of the Victorian elite of the city. A fascinating place to wander with spectacular views of the city especially on clear sunny days.

The Finnieston crane is a landmark known all over the city and also a piece of history reminding us of Glasgow's industrial past. Close by is the Hydro a world famous concert venue.

Stop 4

The Clydeside Distillery is Glasgow's first dedicated single malt Scotch whisky distillery in one hundred years. The distillery is in a converted pump house on the Clydeside in the heart of Glasgow.
Travellers are encouraged to take the guided tour to learn not only about whisky but also the area and original building.

Another of Scotland's major tourist attractions the Riverside museum had a wide range of exhibits ranging from cars, to steam engines to model ships that were built on the river Clyde.

Take your chance to explore the tall ship Glenlee at the rear of the Riverside museum. She was built in Port Glasgow and first launched in 1896

Inside the impressive Kelvingrove art gallery and museum building there is something fir everyone. There is a wide variety of art, history, natural history and social history.
A highlight of the art gallery and museum is Christ of St John on the cross by Salvador Dali.
