Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in for your tour. In front of the statue of Ferdinando dei Medici on a horse, in Piazza Santissima Annunziata. Look for our friendly staff in red, holding a bright red 'The Tour Guy' sign!
Please note that large bags, backpacks, luggage and tripods cannot be brought into the Accademia or Duomo Cathedral. There is no coat check or space at the Accademia Gallery to leave your belongings. Therefore, we encourage you to leave such items and anything similar at your hotel.
This tour includes tickets to visit the following sites on your own after the tour has ended: Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Brunelleschi's Dome, the Baptistry di San Giovanni, Giotto's Belltower, the Crypt of Santa Reparata and the Opera del Duomo Museum.
Should you be coming to Florence by car, we suggest you park in one of the parking garages near the main train station (Santa Maria Novella) as you will not be able to access the city center with your vehicle. Please plan ahead in order to arrive at the meeting point in time for your tour.
• Please read our meeting point directions thoroughly in advance. It is the responsibility of all visitors to be at the meeting point 10 - 15 minutes before departure. Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated, & missed tours or tickets cannot be refunded.
• Mandatory: Everyone is required to carry a copy of the identification page of their passports on all tours. A photo of the first page of your passport saved on your smartphone works as well.
• The tours involve a fair amount of walking and sometimes stairs and uneven terrain; comfortable shoes are always recommended.
• Depending on the size of your group, headphones may be used for some tours. In this case, headphones will be provided. You may use your own earphones if you wish.
• We regret that we are unable to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or any walking impairments that require special assistance on our group tours. We are also unable to accommodate strollers or baby carriages on our group tours.
• We will be subject to a security check at the entrance to all sites. Depending on the volume of visitors, we may have a short wait in the security line.
• The museums, sites and monuments we visit on our tours are among the most popular in the world. Careful planning helps limit crowd exposure, but please be aware that some locations may be unavoidably busy during standard hours/high season.
• We will do everything within our power to ensure timings and itineraries are respected, however, due to issues beyond our control, timings and sites are subject to last minute changes on rare occasions.
