During the journey, we will ascend up to 80% of the mountain, allowing you to save energy and enjoy the panoramic views without the difficulty of an extensive hike. From the point where the 4x4 drops us off, we will start a walk of about an hour to base camp, where you will find one of the most spectacular views of the region. For the more adventurous, the option of reaching the summit of the Acatenango will be available. This stretch takes about four hours and will take you up to 3,976 meters above sea level. The effort will be rewarded with an unforgettable sunset. From the top, the views are indescribable: a panoramic view of Fuego, as well as the satisfaction of having conquered one of the highest points in Central America. After the summit or after enjoying we will start the descent back to the point where the 4x4 awaits us, to complete the experience in a comfortable and safe way.
