6:45 – 7:15. Time to pick up at hotesl in the Old Quarter area. Depart to Pu Luong by scenic mountain roads. Stop for photo opportunities at Mai Chau valley. ( Total about 4 hours drive)
11:30. Arrive in Pu Luong. Walk down Kho Muong, the isolated village inside a valley and conquer Bat cave, the largest one. Have picnic lunch with locals there.
Transfer to Don village, the epicenter of Pu Luong and start a 6km hike flowing the iconic trails of Pu Luong. Admire scenic routes with stunning rice terraced fields changing just after some footsteps. You can catch close and lively sights from cool streams, farmlands, ducks paddling in ponds to friendly locals there.
Arrive at a remote village of 100 Thai People families, known as “Kingdom of Thai People in Pu Luong”. You can either bike a bicycle or discover the area on foot within 20 minutes.
Then visit a typical local house and learn about culture, costumes and especially their traditional weaving. All gives you a closer perspective on local lives and people of Pu Luong in particular and Northern Vietnam mountainous ethnic minorities in general.
Enjoy some snacks with locals before getting back to Hanoi by 16:00
Drive back to Hanoi center by different roads. Finish the tour around 20:30 at hotels/stays in Old Quarter Area. Tour end
