Ayung River Rafting and Tirta Empul Tour Packages is exciting packages that we design to fulfill your adventure experience in paradise island of Bali. The tour will be start at 08.00 AM from your hotel we will drive you to Ayung River where you will enjoy the amazing 2 hours rafting activity. On your rafting trip we are sure you will be amaze, excited and terrified by the scenery and rapids of the river. After, we will serve your delicious lunch at rafting restaurant.
Then the tour continue to visit Tegalalang Rice Terrace which has beautiful verdant terraced rice field scenery at north side of Ubud village. Next journey we will take you to visit Tirta Empul Temple known for it's sacred water from a nearby source, which is used for cleansing rituals. Our next destination is visiting Tegenungan Waterfall, which is located in southern part of Ubud. The tour will be very comfortable with our private air conditioning car transfer.

Detailed itinerary

The drainage basin of Ayung river covers an area of 109.30 km², with the tributaries may reach 300.84 km² (about 30,000 ha). The river flows 68.5 km from its source near Kintamani, along the southern slope of the mountains separating northern and southern area of Bali, finally to the Padanggalak Beach, Sanur. At upriver, three big tributaries supply the water to Ayung river, namely Tukad Bangkung with the upstream at Pelaga, Tukad Menggani with the upstream at Catur, and Tukad Siap with the upstream at Kintamani. The confluence of these three tributaries is located at Payangan. The erosion rate is relatively low in the rice field area at upstream and in the middle, due to flatter slopes and good land conservation techniques.

Stop 2
Tegalalang Rice Terrace offer a perfect Bali photo opportunity with its dramatic views. The vista sprawls down and away to the rice terraces on the slopes across the valley. A local elder, a farmer who owns the land invites visitors to sample his green coconut drink, as well as to purchase woven hats that he makes from coconut leaves as well as posing with visitors for a small fee.

Stop 3
Tirta Empul Temple is beautiful temple complex and holy mountain spring located in the village of Manukaya in central Bali. The site serves as a legendary setting of a traditional tale about good versus evil, its also a national cultural heritage site. The complex built in 960 AD is also a silent witness to the old Balinese kingdom years, particularly at the time of the Warmadewa Dynasty. Another nearby and prominent site on top of a hill is the presidential palace, Istana Tampaksiring, built during the years of the nation first president, Soekarno.

Tegenungan Waterfall is one of the famous places of interest in Bali, the beauty of the waterfall does not only become an attraction for domestic or foreign tourists, local people also often visit this waterfall. Its a part of the Petanu river flowing along the village of Kemenuh, it reaches to the height of up to 20m so you can feel the sound vibration of the falling water. The beauty of Tegenungan waterfall in between green rocky walls can be seen from the first stop point where you can find local stalls serving food and beverages.
