You will start from your hotel and have a 5-minute drive to reach the amazing Homestay with Scenic View restaurant and very tranquil atmosphere on the Red River bank.
Once arriving, you will be warmly welcomed by the hosts, and introduced to their members, know more about the cultures and way of life.
Firstly, you will be taught some simple phrases “local language” in 30 minutes by the tourist guide. It will help you much in shopping, bargaining and spending the currency “VND” with the friendly sellers at the market.
Next, you will begin cycling (or walking) to the local market in only about 5 minutes. It will be such an amazing chance for you to get local things by your own and enjoy a wide selection of foods from all the groceries including: vegetables, meats, fishes, herbs, spices, and fresh fruits.
You will definitely have a fun time to talk and use your body language with locals and have interesting and unforgettable memories.
Then you will go back home to prepare and cook Vietnamese dishes by yourself with the instruction of the tour guide or the household from the beginning to the end.
You will also learn how to marinate and spice will be the most essential lesson. You will also have a chance to be taught how to decorate dishes with carrot flowers, lemon grass stems, banana leaves and curved chili.
After that, you will enjoy your meal at the ideal dining place with wonderful view of the Red River and Eiffel bridge (Long Bien bridge) – the most iconic landmarks of Hanoi.
