Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Lake Bled is one of the finest Alpine resorts with a storybook landscape. With extensive natural beauty, Bled, together with its surroundings, ranks among the most beautiful Alpine resorts, renowned for its 17th-century Baroque church on a small fairytale island in the middle of the picturesque emerald-green lake. The most spectacular views of the lake, its island, and the surrounding mountain ranges are from the medieval castle towering over the lake on a steep cliff. The beauty of the mountains reflected on the lake, the sun, the quietness and the fresh air can be admired especially from the traditional boat made by locals which is only known at Bled and it is called »the Pletna boat«. All these various experiences arouse pleasant feelings in visitors throughout the year and guarantee an ideal base for a relaxing break or an active holiday.

2
Stop 2

Slovenia's largest natural permanent lake offers a multitude of activity possibilities. Lake Bohinj is a special spot in nature surrounded by the beautiful Triglav National Park in Slovenia. Bohinj Lake is really calm and peaceful, with pretty mountains and forests all around. Look at the big mountains in the clear water of the lake, and enjoy the quiet and calm of the area. Bohinj Lake is a nice place where you can experience nature without too many tourists around. You can take a walk by the lake, try kayaking, or have a relaxing boat ride while looking at the scenery or just chill by the shore. Come and enjoy the calm and natural beauty of Lake Bohinj in the Alps.

3
Stop 3

The Vintgar gorge is a natural wonder located in the Triglav National Park, created by the crystal-clear water of the Radovna River. The 1.6 km long wooden walkway leads the way around the gorge to get you as close to the turquoise water and its formations (waterfalls, pools and rapids) as possible. Beside the amazing natural creations, onlookers can also admire man-made sights: the old stone bridge of the Bohinj Railway, constructed in 1906 and the dam from which the water is routed to the small Vintgar hydroelectric power plant. Towards the end of the gorge, onlookers become dazzled by the Šum waterfall, the largest river waterfall in Slovenia. Experience tranquility, calmness and the most intact nature.
