Lake Stymphalia is located in the north-eastern part of the Peloponnese, in Corinthia, southern Greece It is a closed karst basin with a wetland area and an agrarian area. The lake is an important stopover for migratory birds. The size of the lake varies, depending on the season. At the ancient times the Arcadian city Stymfalos used to be at the lakeside

The region's ecological value, centred on the lake and its rich forests, is confirmed by its inclusion in the European Network of Protected Areas NATURA 2000.

This is an amazing 14th century monastery on the top of a hill which is connected with a lot of legends. You will admire the view of the lake Doxa from the monastery's balcony and you will get panoramic photoes of the area.

Doxa Lake is a unique landscape with a fairrytale lake in the middle of the wild forest.Doxa is an artificial lake which completed in 1990 and is really popular destination for people from the capital.In the heart of the lake on a small peninsula features a small orthodox church of Agios Fanourios. You will have a lot of free time to enjoy walking and exploring the wildlife around the lake. On the weekends of the summer you can wear your swimsuit and enjoy hydrobike on the lake, an amazing experience.
