The tour starts with the pick-up at your accommodation in Munich at a designated time. The driver will introduce you to the specifics of the tour after which the tour commences with a drive through the Bavarian and Austrian Alps to our first destination, magical lake-town of Hallstatt.
Nested between the mountains and the lake, Hallstatt is known as one of the most photographed villages in Europe. During approx. 2,5 hour visit of Hallstatt, you can go to Sky walk 360m platform with breath taking views ,stroll your way along the Promenade into the colorfull town centar with numerous small shops. In order to make your visit to Hallstatt more memorable enjoy local delicacies and stroll by Hallstatt lake .
The road from Hallstatt to Salzburg offers some spectacular panoramic views of the lakes within Salzkammergut region. We will offer you a photo break opportunity at Lake Wolfgang at the town of Sankt Gilgen. You are welcome to ask the driver for any other short stops along this route, so you can capture the picturesque scenery of Austrian lakes.
The tour continues with a visit to Salzburg. Upon arrival, independently explore UNESCO protected Old Town, Mirabell Palace Gardens used as a filming location for popular "Sound of Music" movie and do-re-mi song or catch a spectacular view of the city from the Hohensalzburg fortress. Surrounded by mountains, Salzburg is well known as the birth place of Mozart and try Mozart chocolate only available in Salzburg. After finishing our day in Salzburg at around 18:00h we start our drive back to your accommodation in Munich where you started your day tour with us.
