Please note for clarity: "The Monastery" refers to the entire mountainside complex at Montserrat, which includes multiple buildings, courtyards, and historic areas to explore. This is the main focus of the guided tour. It should not be confused with the monks' private residence.
"The Basilica" is the interior of the main church within the complex. Access to the basilica is included only when the corresponding option is selected during booking.
"The Throne Room", which houses the revered Black Madonna (La Moreneta), is a separate space within the basilica and is not included in this tour.
This explanation helps avoid confusion due to varying interpretations of religious and cultural terms by visitors from around the world. We want you to fully understand what’s included in your Montserrat experience before booking.
