About this experience

During this 2.5-hour tour we cycle past beautiful flower fields. The experienced local guide will tell you about the history of Keukenhof and other sights in Lisse. This guided tour is the only tour in Lisse with a local guide. You will not miss a thing about the vast blooming flower fields. You will enjoy the beautiful show garden with various tulips, hyacinths and daffodils in a beautiful tulip farm. You can combine this tour with a visit to the Keukenhof or one of the other sights in the bulb region. The tour is accompanied by 2 guides, so you can ask any questions you may have.
Please note: Children's bicycles are not available. The tour is for people aged 12 and over. However, there are LIMITED child seats available ON REQUEST. Take child seats (1 to 6 years, €15 cash on location). Please make a reservation via contact@tulipbicycletour.com.

A beautiful church that is called 'The Cathedral of the Bulb Region'. It was built in 1903. The guide has all kinds of fun facts about this church!

The Tourist Office and the Black Tulip Museum are both a stone's throw from "Het Vierkant". The latter is the Plein van Lisse catering establishment. A wide variety of restaurants, eateries and cafes ..

Daan and Anja Jansze grow tulip and narcissus bulbs and have set up "De Tulperij" within the flower bulb company.
In the spring, De Tulperij receives groups of tourists who admire all those beautiful spring flowers on land.
Inside the flower greenhouse it is nostalgic, light and attractively decorated. Here we can drink coffee and tea and enjoy all the beautiful flowers around you.

Stop 4 Pass by

Of course Keukenhof Castle cannot be missed. We cycle past the castle garden to see it in all its glory. The Keukenhof castle is located on the edge of the beautiful Keukenhof forest. This forest was the 'kitchen garden' for Teylingen Castle in the 15th century.

The tulip and flower fields of Lisse are surely the largest and most beautiful sights in Lisse. During the cycle route, the guide ensures that the flower fields can be seen in their full glory. A different field is in bloom every week. Of course the guide knows which field this is and she will ensure that you will not miss this splendor of flowers.

If you travel with the Keukenhof bus, it is a 20-minute walk from Keukenhof to Restaurant Hanami, Heereweg 10, Lisse
Please note that during high season there is an additional travel time of 45 to 60 minutes with the Keukenhof Bus. Public transport is more likely to be advised.

You must be able to ride a bicycle. If you cannot cycle, you cannot participate in the tour. No refund will be made.
Unfortunately, children aged 6 to 12 cannot ride along. No children's bicycles available.

Meeting point

The small group tour starts at the parking lot of Restaurant Hanami. Free parking.

From Amsterdam CS take the train to Schiphol and then bus 361. Get off at the stop "MEER EN DUIN".

Keukenhof bus stops at Keukenhof. Please note that it is about a 20 minutes walk to the meeting point.

Please meet your guide in front of the parking lane of Restaurant Hanami. Your guide will be wearing a yellow jacket or yellow shirt.

Keukenhof Bus. This bus stops in front of Keukenhof Gardens. Attention: the queue for direction Keukenhof can be 30-45 minutes during high-season. Please know that it takes 15 minutes to walk to the meeting point:
Restaurant Hanami, Heereweg 10, Lisse.
When you are in front of the main entrance of Keukenhof, please walk straight ahead to a rentabike company. Exit the parking lane. Walk to the left. You will see Restaurant Hanami in front of you.
Note: In high season, the line for the Keukenhof bus often exceeds one hour. We recommend using normal public transportation

There is plenty of free parking for Restarant Hanami.
