The Kigali Genocide Memorial commemorates the 1994 Rwandan genocide. The remains of over 250,000 people are interred there. There is a visitor centre for students and others wishing to understand the events leading up to the genocide that occurred in Rwanda in 1994.

The Campaign Against Genocide Museum is one of the eight museums managed by the the Rwanda Cultural Heritage Academy. It is housed in the Parliamentary building of Rwanda and was inaugurated in 2017 by Paul Kagame with an aim to showcase the history of Rwanda during the campaign against the genocide against the Tutsi.
